Dr. Robin Ferguson
DVM
Dr. Ferguson, a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, began working at a practice that focused on sports medicine and reproduction. Spending time in Texas, at an embryo transfer farm, and completing the Embryo Transfer program at Colorado State University, Dr. Ferguson has developed a keen interest in equine reproduction. Equally as passionate is Ferguson’s Sports Medicine practice. A vital knowledge set for his clientele, Robin stays connected and on the cutting edge of this medicine and it’s techniques, through continuing education and regular conferences.
Dr. Kim Kalteis
B.Sc., DVM
Dr. Kalteis graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2017 and completed an internship at OVC the following year prior to joining FEVS. Dr. Kalteis specializes in Sport Horse Medicine and Health. Energetic and spirited, Kim’s warmth and attention to her Equine patients and their owners bring calm and confidence to each and every case.

Sarah Ball
Sarah joined FEVS in 2014 as Veterinary Assistant. Her responsibilities include the “Mobile Clinic”, keeping it stocked, prepped and at the ready. Sara ensures the safe handling of the patients, providing care and assistance as needed. She is a delight to work with; her friendly persona coupled with experienced, confident, skillful horsemanship quickly win the confidence of our clients, putting them, and their Horses at ease. Her affinity for these graceful creatures doesn’t stop with the Clinical practices: Sarah currently competes with her 7yr old Oldenburg gelding - Spellbound.
Caradey Ferguson
Caradey Ferguson has been an integral part of the practice from the start, looking after the day-to-day operations and the administration of the clinic. Caradey currently competes with her Canadian Sport Horse Carrousel, as well as enjoying time with husband Robin, their 3 children, and her boarder terrier Penny.
Kelly Flesch
Kelly joined FEVS in 2017 to help run the office and look after clinic duties. Kelly enjoys working with our clients, providing exceptional customer service. You may also catch Kelly in the clinic. With 12 years experience as clinic manager she is equally as comfortable there, working closely with our patients, administering medication and monitoring stats, condition and progress, throughout the day. Kelly enjoys her 2 children, gardening and grooming dogs, part time.
Joanne Ison
Joanne joined FEVS in 2017 as Operations and Grounds Keeper, and is instrumental in keeping the Clinic’s grounds and stables clean, organized and stocked for daily operations! Joanne has 3 pinto horses, Coco, Jake and Dove, that she is often found on.
